first timers

i wouldn't want to be echoing here, so i will make this one short. anyway i blogged about this thing on my other blog - disney on ice

shows on ice aren't new to me at all. when we were kids, our parents used to bring us at the araneta coliseum in manila during december to watch holiday on ice. of course, thru the years, a lot of characters were added now to the show. back then, it was all about mickey, minnie, donald, daisy & goofy. now there are too many disney characters. if all of them will be on the show, it will take a whole day.

i am always the first one to know if there are kids' show or stage plays or concerts, because i'm keen at watching posters and billboards around the city. i was seeing the disney on ice publicity for a month, but told my hub 2 weeks before the show. "pag me budget, sige" if we got budget, ok), he said.

thanks to mom, she contributed. we got the 20euro tickets for the fourth ring. anyway, we can transfer seats below when the show starts and no one will notice. we didn't bring our daughter zendra, because it's too windy for her to come out, and she got colds. poor baby.

it was my hub's first time, and and my son's to see such a show. but of course, the four of us were all eager to watch the ice skating and dancing.

(the little mermaid)

minnie, mickey, daisy, donald, goofy

captain hook

peter pan

the show ran for about 2 hours and it was amazing. kids are dancing and clapping. i found myself clapping too, especially the peter pan-tinker bell part where they dance and fly. wow!

it was a very windy sunday. bbbrrr... see? our hair's a hit!!! hahaha

my hub had fun clicking the cam..."pose naman ako" (i pose of course)

hope the show will be back next year.
