hobby

one of my favorite things to do when i'm not so busy with household chores, mothering stuffs or lurking on line, is scrapbooking. almost all of my kids' foto albums were not just placed or pasted in normal albums. i kind of put something for the viewer's delight. "ganun ako ka- tyaga" (that's how patient i am). my hub is sometimes lamenting over those "too many papers & stuffs" that i collect and hide. "gagamitin ko 'yan.." (i'll be using them). that's always my dialogue when he asks me to get rid of the stuffs which for him, are throwable. yeah, i admit, i got folders and folders of stickers, paper clippings, ribbons, different form of scissors, etc. etc. it's what you call creativity.

so here are two of what i did with my daughter's pictures today.

she was three months old here. made it as simple as possible with mickey mouse stickers and a quote by mark twain: a baby is an inestimable blessing and a bother. =)

next is her latest pix in the park. this is my fave so far.
i want some complications. literally tied heart shaped papers to a super thin rope and glued it around the borders. i just cut a light colored paper from a magazine to highlight the violet rubber-letter stickers. put some butterflies & tiny flowers to the open space.

since there is still no big pix of her on the wall, i can't help but frame this one. now, ---> my three musketeers are complete.
