when i was small, i used to write short poems. my dad compiled them, but i just don't know where are they now. maybe thrown away or been rotten somewhere. if i had my way back then, i could have kept them under my bed or in a safe box. at least i could show them, or re-read those poems and laugh at them every now and then. but, sad to say, they're all gone. i've got lots of childhood memories. i guess my mom's not so keen in keeping them over the years. but it's ok. i'm sure some memories will come out of my thoughts.
i heard it somewhere.. "if you wake up in the morning and you think of writing, then you're a writer". hmmm...maybe i am. i love writing! during high school, i used to write articles for our school paper...be an editor in some stuffs. i'm happy about it. i have this habit of jotting all down my thoughts on a personal book. when i saw or read some good quotes, thoughts, anecdotes or whatever,i wouldn't miss having them on my notes.
i didn't grow up with these hi technologies and stuffs as we are all having now. during my student life, i never had a lot of time facing a computer. i only had 2 month-summer pc studies, pure basic stuffs. we still got those "floppy discs"...and floppy hairs, i bet...hahaha.
so, when i arrived here abroad (Milan, Italy) i let myself be "informed" of pc stuffs, emails and all. first my brother introduced me to Friendster site. cool! then, my friend Lyn introduced me to a yahoo360 site (which was abolished now). there i enjoyed blogging and writing. Then, i transfered to Multiply. Until i was invited to Facebook. Hmmm? too much tossing and turning. One day, my friend's wife, Dewie share a link of her Blogger page. Wow! i found it so amazing. So, here i am...trying to start all over again with my blogging instincts.
i onced dreamt of writing a book. but what about it? what would i write? just merely thinking what would be my book's title and genre give me headaches. so i just thought i would just enjoy blogging: sharing thoughts, learning, laughing as well, here in this site.
so let's get going...
