first casting

when i saw the ad on facebook, i never think twice. i told myself, "would be fun". so i brought my daughter for a casting for a calendar & advertisements for baby clothes here in Milan. "won't hurt anyway. you'll never know..." i told myself.

i'm just proud of my daughter.

she's a bit awkward of the fotographer. she's used to being fotographed by me or any relatives. i can't make her smile. i keep on saying.."kiara..smile...kiara pose...kiara show your teeth..."

at the end she had her 5 or 6 shots without a smile. hope they'll choose the best shot!

the fotographer says: "she's so cute!"

well, it doesn't matter if she's chosen or not. i just want her to experience it.

my daughter turned 20 months yesterday. so for this five-day it's all about her!

1. Mom's back in Milan from her 40-day vacation in the Philippines. Zendra's so busy with mom's stuffs.

10 hours straight from work (7-5pm), didn't get the train on time going home, found the elevator out-of-service, sweating (silently cursing our building) on my way up to the 4th floor, tired and sleepy...and my little girl rushed @ me, gave me a kiss & a hug when i opened our door! every irritable things were simply gone.

i love being a mom!

P.S.

i only slept 3 hours last night. need to wake up at 4:30am (again).

i want these marathon job to be over on Friday.. Zzzzz...

mother-daughter tandem

the sun (shortly) shined last thursday, so we hurried in the park to have some fun. as usual, zendra and i were alone and i had that idea to set automatically the digicam on the stairs of the slide. good enough the park is not too wet from the rains.

zendra knew when the cam is blinking. see? she's ready! click!

yeah ok..i have to loose my weight. i tried to jump, but the cam didn't capture it well.

restless

last sunday she was already better. monday she's still ok, but the night of tuesday she got a high fever again. 39°c. i didn't slept at all and silently been agonized by my daughter's sigh and cries. she wasn't really feeling well. she can't breath well due to her colds and i can imagine her being restless too. i gave her tacchipirina syrup (paracetamol) for kids. wednesday morning she was still ill. the medicine didn't work well. her fever is 38°c and she vomitted. i decided to take her to the hospital. it's almost 11am. we had waited for the doctor for hours. fortunately, my hub's cousin was available and came with me. 1pm we were called and the assistant doctor checked zendra. she said she already got infections due to phlegm that doesn't go out. that explained her swollen eyes. poor baby. she said to wait again for the other doctor for prescriptions. we will be called again. i haven't eaten anything since breakfast, so i was already starving. how long will we still wait? zendra and i were both restless. at about 2:30pm the other doctor came. thanks God. she gave antibiotic prescription and we were released. finally home about 3pm! hope she gets better...

happiness

... all my life i have been wishing for a daughter. after my two sons, i almost stop dreaming about it. but just as everybody says...it will come unexpectedly. Alas! Zendra Kiara came out. i'm just crazy about her.
